The cloth wipes solution recipes I’ve found online have been a bit too complex or too strong for little Amélie’s bum…. so I finally perfected my own mix, and thought I’d share it with the world. What you’ll need:
Just in case you don’t want to watch my video, here’s the steps:
Tea Tree Oil – quickly penetrates the skin and useful for treating burns, scrapes, bites, stings, and various skin irritations. It’s also used to help prevent or treat yeast infections. Very effective fungicide, antibacterial and antiseptic.
Lavender – added to salves and creams to promote healing & as an aroma additive it eases tension, tiredness and feelings of depression.
Aloe Vera- soothes and protects from the inside and out. Although aloe vera is best-known as a topical skin protector, it’s also an outstanding digestive tonic and stomach soother. Aloe Vera Gel is suitable for internal and external use.

Natural cleaning products are safe, work well, & you can save money by avoiding the toxic ones at the store! And these recipes are oh so easy…
CREAMY SOFT SCRUB
Use it on counters, sinks & tubes. Rinses easy & doesn’t leave grit!
• Pour 1/2 cup baking soda in a bowl
• Add liquid soap until it is as thick as frosting
WINDOW CLEANER
Put all ingredients into spray bottle, & shake to mix:
• 1/2 tsp liquid soap
• 3 tbsp white vinegar
• 2 cups water
ALL-PURPOSE CLEANER
Put all ingredients into spray bottle & shake until washing soda dissolves:
• 1/2 squirt liquid soap
• 1/2 tsp washing soda (like Arm & Hammer brand, found near laundry detergents)
Apply and wipe off with sponge or rag.
OVEN CLEANER
• Sprinkle water over the bottom of the over. Cover with backing soda (grime should be totally white). Sprinkle more water on top.
• Let sit overnight. Wipe off with sponge or rag. Use a little liquid soap on stubborn spots.
(If it doesn’t work, you haven’t used enough water or baking soda.)
FURNITURE POLISH
• 1/2 tsp olive oil
• 1/4 cup white vinegar or fresh lemon juice
Mix in a glass jar. Dab a soft rag into mixture & spread onto wood surface.
Cover glass gar and store for later.
MOLD KILLER
• 2 tsp tea tree oil
• 2 cups water
Combine in spray bottle, shake to mix. Spray on moldy areas. Do not rinse.
DISHWASHER DETERGENT
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp liquid dish soap
Make a thick paste & use it like any other detergent.
You can use pure white vinegar as a rinse aid!

So, I gotta admit… I always have the raddest ghetto phone around. I lose my phone 367 days a year and am always buying the cheapest one off eBay, but it makes me slightly depressed when my things aren’t in a beautiful physical state, so eventually I figured out how to beautify my crappy old cell phones.
The secret is that even though people think you’re very crafty and creative for doing it, it’s cake. So, I’m going to share all the steps with you on how to customize your old cell phone by gluing a unique image on it using a collage technique….

Los Angeles is lucky enough to be graced by the presence of Mother Plucker (a little feather shop packed with all the feathers you could ever want), which my best friend Drie shared with me the last time I was in town… I ended up forgetting my feather purchases at her house, so she sent them back to me for my birthday along with tons of other feathers & supplies. This weekend I finally got the time to start plucking away and sticking things together. I’m missing a few key elements to make headbands, and it’s hard making all the accessories I want when I don’t have every single color of feathers/boas I desire, but until my order of feathers comes in from Ostrich.com, I’ve managed to throw a few pieces together:
