HOLA, MY NAME IS URSALA I’m a 22 year-old student, aspiring artist & graphic designer on a constant search for inspiration and good company. I love… making messes, organizing, getting presents, cutting up paper, walking my dog (Hank), cooking, archiving my life in pictures, and brainstorming ideas. I particularly enjoy snowboarding, boats and airplanes, salsa lessons with my lover (Chris), art gatherings, and planning events. Most of all, I love my precious baby, Amélie Soleil.
On the 29th of June 2009 I found out that I was 5.5 weeks pregnant with my crazy tattooed boyfriend’s love-child. Baby was expected on the 27th of February, 2010. Amélie Soleil was born at home on March 13th after a long, beautiful, painful, psychedelic day. It will be interesting to see how this kid turns out, as she will be raised amongst the freaky-deaky skull-art that daddy makes, and under the critical eye of a mommy who thinks it’s her duty to analyze everything in her way.
ABOUT “LITTLE MAMA’S LOWDOWN” This blog is to track my journey, show & tell about all the sweet goodies I’ve scored or lust for, archive adventures in photo logs, log cooking attempts, and jot down all the baby & parenting information that I’d never before thought about or searched for. It begins while I was still in school and before I knew I was pregnant. It ends with the latest post. This is an attempt to motivate and inspire.
